In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent listed below.

1 Overview

This Digital Millennium Copyright Act policy (“Policy”) applies to the Yemen Macsoft website located at https://macsoft-ye.com (the “Website”) and forms part of Yemen Macsoft’s Terms of Use.

Yemen Macsoft publishes technology news, software reviews, tutorials, and guides. We are committed to complying with copyright law and taking appropriate action when notified of alleged infringement.

2 Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through our Website infringes one or more of your copyrights, please submit a written notice (a “DMCA Takedown Notice”) containing the following information:

  1. physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on our Website — please provide the full URL(s) where the allegedly infringing content appears.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Important: Incomplete or inaccurate DMCA notices may not be processed. Please ensure all required information is included before submitting your notice.

  • Review the notice and verify the reported content.
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
  • Notify the user who posted the content, where reasonably practicable.
  • Document the action taken for our records.

We aim to act on legitimate notices within 5–10 business days of receipt.

5 Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of a federal district court in your jurisdiction, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action to restrain the restoration.

6 Repeat Infringers

Yemen Macsoft has a strict policy against repeat copyright infringers. In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we will:

  • Terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
  • Block access to the Website for users who repeatedly post infringing material.

7 False Notices and Misrepresentation

Warning: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages — including costs and attorneys’ fees — incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or Yemen Macsoft. Please only submit a DMCA notice if you have a genuine, good-faith belief that infringement has occurred.

8 Third-Party Content

Yemen Macsoft may display content submitted by third-party users or linked from external sources. We do not review all such content before it is posted. If you believe any third-party content on our Website infringes your copyright, please use the notice procedure described in Section 2 above.

9 Fair Use

Yemen Macsoft may reproduce limited portions of third-party content for commentary, criticism, education, and news reporting, consistent with the principles of fair use under applicable copyright law. A valid DMCA notice must identify specific content that you believe infringes your rights; general objections to fair-use content will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

10 Changes to This Policy

Yemen Macsoft reserves the right to update this DMCA Policy at any time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
